The catalogue, in its own window.
Lektava for Mac, Windows and Linux is the same catalogue as the web app. Sign in and your libraries, loans and lists are exactly where you left them. The app is free to download; what you can do in it follows your plan, as it does on the web.
The desktop apps aren't out yet. Everything they'll do already works in your browser.
For Mac.
One app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other.
- Requires
- macOS 12 Monterey or later
- File
- Disk image (.dmg)
- Install
- Open it and drag Lektava to Applications
For Windows.
An installer that sets Lektava up for you alone, with no administrator password, and updates it in place when you install a newer one.
- Requires
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- File
- Installer (.exe)
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may stop it with "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.
For Linux.
An AppImage that runs on most distributions, and a package for Ubuntu and Debian.
- Requires
- 64-bit x86, glibc 2.35 or later (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36)
- Files
- AppImage · .deb
- AppImage
- Make it executable, then open it
- .deb
- sudo apt install ./lektava_*.deb
Staying signed in needs a keyring service such as GNOME Keyring or KWallet, which most desktops already run. Without one, Lektava asks you to sign in each time it opens.
Always the newest, and checkable.
The links on this page always fetch the latest version. Each release lists SHA-256 checksums beside its files, so you can confirm a download arrived intact.
