Refunds and cancellations

Last updated

You can stop a renewal without losing your catalogue. Cancellation and a refund are separate requests; this page explains both.

01 Who provides Lektava

Lektava is provided by Oshan Mudannayake, trading as Latenari. Latenari is a trading name, not a registered company. Oshan is the individual behind the product and responsible for its support.

For purchases billed through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and the seller on your receipt. Paddle processes the payment, handles refunds and invoices, and calculates, collects and remits applicable buyer sales taxes, including VAT and GST. Lektava provides the service.

02 Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. On the Lektava website, open Billing and choose Cancel plan. You can also use the Manage subscription link in your Paddle confirmation email or request cancellation at Paddle buyer support. Removing the app or signing out does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your paid plan continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then your account returns to Free unless a separate complimentary plan applies. An already-paused subscription cancels immediately; it has no remaining paid access to run to period end.

Cancelling does not delete your books, notes, covers or libraries. Existing data stays available to view, edit and export. Free limits can prevent new additions when you are over capacity; they do not remove what you already have. Export is always available on every plan, including Free. See pricing and limits.

03 Requesting a refund

Cancelling does not automatically refund an earlier charge or unused time. If Paddle billed you, request a refund through Paddle buyer support or the support link on your receipt. Have your purchase email and transaction reference ready. Do not send a card number.

Paddle reviews eligibility under its refund policy and buyer terms, including applicable statutory withdrawal and refund rights. Time limits and conditions depend on the purchase and where you live. Lektava offers no additional money-back guarantee or universal refund window. Nothing on this page limits your mandatory consumer rights, including rights when a service is faulty or not as described.

An approved refund may end the paid access covered by that purchase under Paddle's policy; it is separate from ordinary period-end cancellation. Catalogue retention and export remain available as described above.

04 Billing, tax and product help

Ask Paddle buyer support about a charge, invoice, refund or buyer-tax correction. Any tax refund depends on Paddle's terms and the law that applies to your purchase.

If Lektava did not provide access, does not work as described, or you need help finding the right billing route, write to oshan.ivantha@gmail.com. Include the problem and receipt reference, without payment details. The Terms of Service cover use of Lektava; the privacy policy explains data handling and account deletion.
